The famous Grain Belt Sign, located on Nicollet Island near the Hennepin Avenue Bridge in Minneapolis, has been a landmark since 1941 and was restored in 1989.

Constructing a LEGO model of the sign presented challenges, especially when trying to create a round bottle cap using square LEGOs.  Making LEGO letters wasn't particularly enjoyable either.  Nevertheless, the final product turned out great and looks even better with the added LED lights.

I also included a few mythical elements including a keg party scene at the base of the model.
