Matt's Bar in South Minneapolis is known as the home of the Jucy Lucy (although I personally prefer the 5-8 Club).  Established in 1954, it is arguably the most famous dive bar in Minneapolis.

Notably, Matt's was the site of a historic visit by President Barack Obama in 2014.

Although I didn't have much of a personal connection with Matt's Bar, it made sense for it to be my second LEGO landmark model.  I tried to depict President Obama's visit in the booth where it took place.  Interestingly, I sold this model for $150 and later bought it back a few years later. I then created a "mini-Matt's" model.  In 2025, I sold it again, this time to the owner of Matt's Bar.  It is on display at Matt's.
