The Monte Carlo was established in 1906 and is famous for its chicken wings, its massive (and tall) mahogany bar, and comfort food (including liver and onions - yuck!).  Located in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis, the Monte Carlo is a classic cocktail bar with a Wisconsin supper club twist.

The Monte Carlo is one of my favorite restaurants. I once took my Great Aunt and Uncle there for dinner, and we shared some incredible stories about the Monte Carlo and other places, including tales of old-school mobsters, hits, mobster summer vacations, and other shenanigans from the 1920s.

The old-school cocktail bar and nostalgic atmosphere inspired me to create yet another LEGO model.  After Axios, the online news site, published an article about it, Maury Glover got wind of things and featured it in a TV news segment. This led to my second 15 minutes of fame.
