While the Nokomis Beach Café may not qualify as a historic landmark, it has been my go-to spot for coffee for the past 20 years.

The idea for the LEGO model came about when Dennis, the owner, asked me to display the LEGO model of Nye's in the shop.  I thought it would be fitting to create a model of the café to accompany it.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of building the Nokomis Beach model was including many of the regular customers as LEGO Minifigures both inside and outside the shop.
