Riverview Theater, Minneapolis - 2025

The Riverview Theater is a throw-back to the art-deco style of the 1950s and 60s.  Opened in 1948, it is one of the last remaining theaters from that era in Minneapolis that hasn't been demolished.

Along with the Split Rock Lighthouse, this model is one of my largest and most detailed LEGO creations.  While it is definitely not to scale (as the actual theater seats 400), it still looks good.  The lobby features a decent level of accuracy (see the golden water fountains).  Creating the illuminated marquee was quite a challenge.

The Riverview model is on permanent display at the Riverview Theater.
